GET INK COMMUNITY AFFILIATIONS

Get Ink PR believes in being an active community partner. Each month, the agency donates its time to a not-for-profit organization that is a pillar in the community and assisting people in need. As Get Ink PR specializes in the hospitality industry, the team is focused on ending poverty and hunger in each community in which it does business. Team members have donated their time to organizations such as Feeding South Florida, Community Partnership for the Homeless and Radio Lollipop at the Miami Children’s Hospital.
Feeding South Florida
Feeding South Florida. Founded in 1981 as the Daily Bread Food Bank, Feeding South Florida has been working to reduce hunger by reducing waste. We solicit donations of food from a variety of sources – farmers, processors, grocers and restaurants among others – and distribute it through a network of not-for-profit agencies including daycare centers, homeless shelters, residential homes for the physically and mentally challenged, assisted living facilities for the elderly, youth programs, soup kitchens and emergency food pantries. Feeding South Florida distributes approximately 1.8 million pounds of food each month to hungry South Floridians, including children and the elderly, the unemployed and the working poor, the disabled, the homeless, and victims of natural disasters, illness and violence. http://www.feedingsouthflorida.org/about-us.htm

The Community Partnership for the Homeless
Community Partnership for the Homeless. Since 1995, Community Partnership for Homeless has been assisting homeless men, women and children in transitioning off the streets of Miami-Dade County and on their way to attaining greater stability and self-sufficiency in their lives. As the private sector partner of the Miami Dade County Homeless Trust, we have continually been recognized as a national model for our comprehensive approach to helping the homeless. Our program’s main catalyst for success…the Homeless Assistance Centers…operate as one-stop temporary care entry points that provide not just food and shelter, but comprehensive case management, healthcare, daycare, job training and other assistance from a variety of social service agencies all under one roof.
